Nisai Learning and Cohort Go have announced a new partnership with the intention of providing online students with a new payment solution.

The partnership’s payment method is designed to be a more cost-effective option that makes it for online students to pay their tuition fees.

Nisai Learning is a British online learning provider that provides its education programmes to over a thousand students from across the world.

Nisai students can now pay for courses in local currency

Nisai said that its intention is to provide support to students who would otherwise face barriers to accessing a higher education, including those pertaining to illness, mental health conditions and challenging behaviours.

The new partnership that Nisai has established with Australian edtech company Cohort Go builds on this intention of making education more affordable for these students.

With the new online payment system provided by Cohort Go, Nisai’s students can now pay for their courses in their local currency. This way, they are able to avoid the costs that come with foreign exchange rates and transfer fees.

Cohort Go partnership an “integral part of the wider global strategy” of Nisai Group

In a previous article by GET News, we reported on the Cohort Go partnership with North Loop. This partnership provided advanced banking facilities for international students in the US, which provided them with competitive exchange rates and no fees.

Mark Fletcher, CEO of Cohort Go, stated that this online payment solution will provide a significant aid to these students and their families, particularly amidst the current global situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“We are pleased to be able to offer Nisai students’ access to more convenient payment methods.

“Given the current impact of COVID-19, more and more students are having to turn to online learning. It’s great that we can provide a more cost-effective option for students who wish to gain a quality education but benefit from an online learning environment.”

Dhruv Patel, CEO of Nisai, corroborated this statement:

“The partnership with Cohort Go is an integral part of the wider global strategy of the Nisai Group to support learners and their families in the UK and internationally.

“COVID-19 has provided its own challenges but having Cohort Go in place will support parents and schools to make payments in their local currency and will deliver time savings in our management of finances.

“The greater acceptance of online learning internationally, due to COVID and our partnerships with the awarding bodies Cambridge International and NOCN means that we will be supporting more children, young people and adults to achieve academically and develop personally.”
