What isn't Covered Under OVHC?
While OVHC offers essential protection, it doesn’t cover everything. Services like elective or cosmetic surgery, dental and optical care (unless you add extras), and treatments not considered medically necessary are usually excluded. Many policies also have waiting periods for pre-existing conditions, and most don’t cover services provided outside Australia. Alternative therapies, over-the-counter medications, and some specialist procedures might not be included either. Always check the policy’s fine print before signing up.
